Defend your base in Rocket Fortress by firing holy missiles, destroying demon portals, recruiting Marines, and upgrading your arsenal for tougher waves.
Rocket Fortress is a clicker RPG and defense game where you launch holy missiles at demons, monster portals, and powerful bosses before they reach your base. Every successful battle provides resources for improving missile damage, strengthening the launcher, recruiting automated support units, and unlocking additional firepower. The challenge grows from simple early waves into stages where manual attacks and carefully chosen upgrades must work together.
The Rocket Fortress game combines rapid clicking with incremental progression. You can actively increase your damage by firing missiles yourself, while recruited Marines attack automatically. When a stage becomes too difficult, the solution is usually to improve your damage output, strengthen supporting units, or save a special ability for the most dangerous part of the battle.
Each stage places your missile launcher in front of an approaching demonic force. Enemies emerge from portals and advance toward the fortress while you fire repeatedly to stop them. Destroying individual demons reduces immediate pressure, but the portals remain a major priority because they continue producing more enemies.
Completing waves and defeating stronger targets rewards minerals and other resources. These earnings can be spent on launcher upgrades, missile improvements, Marine recruitment, and special abilities. Later stages increase enemy durability and introduce boss fights that require significantly more damage than ordinary encounters.
If the enemy force reaches and overwhelms the fortress, the current stage fails. You can then improve your setup and retry with greater firepower rather than restarting the entire progression path.
The official 1Games.IO listing confirms clicking or pressing the Spacebar as the primary attack control. Other published versions also list tapping as the equivalent input on supported touchscreen devices.
Ordinary demons create immediate danger, but portals determine how many enemies you may need to fight. Attacking only the closest monster can keep the fortress safe for a moment while allowing the portal to produce replacements.
When the battlefield is manageable, direct more manual fire toward the portal. Let Marines and other automatic units reduce weaker enemies while your stronger missiles damage the source of the invasion. If several demons are already close to the fortress, clear enough space before returning your attention to the portal.
This target priority becomes especially important in later stages. A durable portal left active for too long can generate more health and pressure than your current upgrades can handle.
Damage upgrades increase the value of every click. They are especially useful when basic demons require too many hits or when a boss survives until it reaches the defensive line.
Launcher improvements strengthen your primary attack system. Upgrade this area when active clicking feels productive but the total damage still cannot keep pace with stronger portals.
Additional missiles expand the available arsenal and may provide stronger effects than the starting weapon. Secret crates and long-term progression are described as ways to obtain more advanced firepower.
Temporary powers can provide concentrated damage or help control a crowded battlefield. Their greatest value appears during boss encounters and dense waves rather than during easy stages that your Marines can already manage.
Marines add automatic attacks to the fortress. Their damage continues without requiring a click for every shot, making them important for idle progression and for handling minor enemies during active battles.
Recruiting support early creates a stable source of damage, but Marine upgrades should not completely replace missile improvements. Automated fire may clear ordinary enemies efficiently while lacking enough concentrated power to defeat a boss or destroy a fortified portal in time.
A balanced setup lets Marines manage the background pressure while you use manual missiles against whichever target threatens the run most.
Minerals are a central upgrade resource earned through combat. Rocket Fortress also includes additional reward opportunities such as the Box Fairy and Dungeon battles, which can provide minerals and rarer materials including red orbs and uranium.
Click the Box Fairy when it appears, but do not let the bonus distract you from enemies already close to the fortress. Dungeon challenges can offer valuable rewards, although entering harder content before strengthening your launcher may slow progression.
Use basic minerals for immediate combat improvements, then reserve rarer resources for upgrades or unlocks that cannot be purchased through ordinary wave rewards.
Spreading resources across every available option can leave all systems too weak for the current boss. Focus on the statistic creating the clearest limitation, then rebalance after passing the stage.
Clearing individual demons without damaging their portal creates a repeating problem. Attack the source whenever the immediate area is under control.
A temporary boost provides little value when ordinary missiles and Marines can already win. Save limited abilities for bosses, durable portals, or groups that threaten to break through.
Fast input increases manual fire, but later progress also depends on upgrades and automated damage. Clicking harder cannot fully compensate for an underdeveloped launcher.

The game is unrelated to the Team Fortress 2 rocket launcher and rocket-jumping mechanics. Rocket Fortress focuses on defending a base, destroying portals, recruiting Marines, and developing an incremental missile arsenal.
Destroy demons, portals, and bosses before they reach the fortress, then use the rewards to strengthen your missiles and support units.
Click the Left Mouse Button or press the Spacebar to attack.
Marines provide automated supporting fire, helping damage enemies even when you are not manually launching every missile.
Missile or launcher damage is generally useful early because it helps clear enemies and portals faster. Add Marines to create reliable automatic damage.
1Games.IO lists itself as the developer and records a release date of October 13, 2025.
Rocket Fortress becomes a race between enemy growth and your upgrade speed. Manual missiles supply concentrated damage, Marines provide steady support, and special abilities help when a portal or boss begins overwhelming the defensive line.
Target portals before they fill the battlefield, invest resources in the system limiting your progress, and save major power-ups for encounters that need them. A balanced rocket fort can turn repeated failures into steady advancement through increasingly difficult demon waves.
