Slope Run is a 3D space runner where you steer and jump a rolling ball across tunnels, avoid gaps and collapsing tiles, and tackle levels or endless runs.
Slope Run is a 3D running and platform game where you control a rolling ball traveling automatically through tunnels suspended in space. Your job is to steer between platforms, jump across gaps, avoid unstable surfaces, and stay out of the void. Unlike versions of Slope built mainly around left-and-right steering, Slope Run adds a dedicated jump control and a more platform-focused tunnel design.
The game offers two main ways to play. Level Mode gives you individual stages to complete and routes through different branches, while Infinite Mode continues for as long as you can keep the ball safely on the course. Both modes use the same simple movement system, but they reward different approaches.
The ball moves forward through a three-dimensional space tunnel while you control its horizontal direction and jumps. Platforms can appear on different sides of the tunnel, which means staying on the current floor is not always the safest route. Moving left or right can carry the ball toward another section of the tunnel and help you line up with the next safe platform.
Gaps are the most immediate danger. If the ball misses a platform and falls into open space, the current attempt ends or you return to the previous part of the run, depending on the mode and checkpoint structure. Some brown platforms add another problem because they begin collapsing when touched, leaving very little time to remain on them.
The challenge comes from combining steering and jumping rather than treating them as separate actions. A gap may require you to move toward another side of the tunnel while jumping at the same time, especially once platform layouts become narrower or more fragmented.
Slope Run uses the Arrow Keys in the commonly available browser version. Several current game pages document the same three essential controls.
The small control set makes the game easy to understand, but accurate timing becomes more important when several jumps and direction changes appear close together.
| Mode | Objective | Main Challenge |
|---|---|---|
| Level Mode | Reach the end of individual stages and continue through the game's progression. | Learn increasingly difficult platform layouts and complete each route. |
| Infinite Mode | Travel as far as possible without falling. | Maintain accurate movement for an extended run and push your score higher. |
Level Mode includes a map-based progression structure with different branches and themed areas. Current versions specifically document branches such as Winter and Dark routes becoming available deeper into the progression. Infinite Mode removes the stage-ending objective and instead measures how long and how far you can continue through the tunnel.
Not every surface is reliable. Brown platforms can collapse after the ball lands on them, making hesitation dangerous. If one is positioned between two stable areas, treat it as a temporary step rather than a safe place to remain.
The safest approach is to identify your exit before landing. Know whether you intend to jump forward, move toward another wall, or combine both actions. Waiting until the platform begins disappearing leaves less time to choose the next route.
Slope Run's tunnel layout means the path is not always limited to one flat floor. Left and right movement can reposition the ball around different sides of the structure, letting you continue when the platform directly ahead contains a large opening.
Holding a direction for too long can also create problems because the world effectively rotates around the movement path in some tunnel sections. Make smaller adjustments when possible and check where the next solid surface will be before committing to a long turn.
Your current position matters, but the next gap determines what you need to do. Keep your attention slightly ahead of the ball so you can begin lining up a jump before reaching the edge.
Staying close to the middle of a wide platform gives you room to correct in either direction. Running near an edge reduces your options if the next platform suddenly requires a move toward the opposite side.
Do not press jump simply because you see empty space. First identify where the ball should land. When the safe platform is offset to one side, combine horizontal movement with the jump rather than trying to correct only after leaving the ground.
Fragile platforms collapse quickly. When one is unavoidable, use it as part of a continuous sequence and prepare to leave immediately after touching it.
Level Mode presents defined stages that can be retried. Learning how particular gaps, turns, and tunnel transitions work there can make long Infinite Mode attempts easier to control.

You control a rolling ball through space tunnels and try to avoid gaps and unstable platforms. Level Mode requires you to reach stage goals, while Infinite Mode challenges you to travel as far as possible.
Press the Up Arrow key to jump. Use the Left and Right Arrow keys to control horizontal movement.
Brown platforms are unstable surfaces that collapse after you touch them, so you need to move or jump away quickly.
Yes. Level Mode provides a sequence of stages and map branches. The game also includes Infinite Mode for endless distance-based runs.
Missing the platforms ends the current run or forces you to restart from the relevant point in the level, depending on the mode.
Slope Run is built around three actions—move left, move right, and jump—but the tunnel layouts make those controls increasingly demanding. Read upcoming platforms before reaching them, line up jumps early, leave collapsing tiles quickly, and use smaller steering corrections when the available path becomes narrow. Level Mode rewards learning each course, while Infinite Mode turns the same mechanics into a continuous survival challenge.
