Garten of Banban is a first-person horror puzzle game where you explore an abandoned kindergarten, use a drone, collect keycards, and survive its mascots.
Garten of Banban is a first-person horror puzzle game from Euphoric Brothers set inside the abandoned Banban's Kindergarten. The facility was once presented as a trusted place for children, but everyone inside suddenly disappeared. You explore its colorful but empty rooms, collect keycards and other items, operate a remote-controlled flying drone, solve environmental puzzles, and survive encounters with the kindergarten's unsettling mascots while trying to discover what happened.
The original game is structured as one connected exploration chapter rather than a collection of unrelated levels. New areas open when you find the correct keycard, activate a mechanism, complete an item-search puzzle, or use the drone to reach a button that your character cannot press directly.
The drone is the mechanic that most clearly separates Garten of Banban from a normal first-person exploration game. After obtaining its remote and the batteries needed to power it, you can send the drone toward distant wall buttons. Those buttons activate doors and mechanisms that let you move deeper into the kindergarten.
The drone controls are especially important because several puzzles place their activation buttons outside the player's physical reach.
Colored keycards are one of the main progression tools in the game. When you obtain a card, look for a reader with the corresponding color. Activating it can unlock a door or enable another mechanism that was previously unavailable.
This means a locked door is not always a sign that you missed a hidden switch beside it. Sometimes you need to continue exploring another accessible room, complete its puzzle, and return later with the correct card.
When you pick up a new keycard, remember the colored readers you have already passed. Revisiting one of those earlier locations is often more useful than searching every room again from the beginning.
The drone acts as a remote extension of the player. It can reach buttons mounted above doors or on the opposite side of areas where you cannot physically stand. The first game teaches this mechanic early by placing important controls outside normal interaction range.
Before sending the drone, check whether its path is clear. Aim directly at the target and allow enough time for it to travel there. If you move into another area and the drone is no longer nearby, the recall control can reposition it so you can continue using it.
Later puzzles combine the drone with keycards and switches, so it is useful to think of the remote as part of your normal inventory rather than a one-time gadget.
Garten of Banban includes item-search and observation puzzles rather than focusing entirely on chase sequences. The opening chapter sends you through areas such as the cafeteria, creativity section, playground, drawing room, and central pit while asking you to find objects and use environmental clues.
Some tasks require collecting multiple objects before a reward becomes available. Others ask you to reproduce information visible elsewhere in the environment, such as character colors. When a puzzle panel has no obvious solution, search the surrounding rooms for posters, drawings, or other visual clues before guessing.
Exploration eventually gives way to a chase involving Opila Bird. This section requires more than simply running in a straight line. You need to move across the available path and interact with the environment quickly enough to prevent the mascot from reaching you.
The important preparation happens before the chase. Pay attention to switches, moving platforms, and drone buttons as you explore the area. Knowing what each mechanism controls reduces the amount of time you spend searching for the correct action while something is already pursuing you.
When you see a locked door with a colored control, remember its location. Finding a new keycard can immediately make that earlier route useful.
Before experimenting with a wall button, recall the drone into the current area. This avoids wasting time trying to send commands to a drone that is still positioned in another room.
Color and observation puzzles usually provide information somewhere nearby. Search posters, character artwork, and surrounding rooms before repeatedly pressing puzzle controls at random.
If a room contains several controls, test or observe them while the area is still safe. Later encounters can require fast use of the same machinery.
Early progression often depends on a small item such as a battery or keycard. If the next door will not open, finish checking the rooms that are already available to you.

Euphoric Brothers developed and published Garten of Banban. The original game released on January 6, 2023.
You explore the abandoned Banban's Kindergarten, solve puzzles, use the drone and keycards to open new areas, survive dangerous encounters, and investigate why everyone inside the facility disappeared.
The drone is controlled with a remote and is primarily used to reach wall-mounted buttons and other targets that the player cannot activate directly.
Yes. The original game is officially listed as a single-player title.
Yes. Euphoric Brothers has continued the Garten of Banban series with multiple additional entries that expand the kindergarten and its story.
Garten of Banban combines a colorful kindergarten setting with first-person horror and environmental puzzle solving. Search every accessible room, remember colored keycard readers, keep the drone ready for distant buttons, and pay attention to switches before dangerous encounters begin. Progress depends less on combat than on understanding how the facility's objects and mechanisms connect while its mascots become increasingly difficult to ignore.
