Waiting until your car is directly behind a slower vehicle leaves less room to react. At higher speed, a last-second turn can also push you too far across the road and into another obstacle.
Look farther ahead whenever the road is straight. Spotting traffic early gives you time to decide which side offers the cleaner route without making a sharp correction.

When passing traffic, use only as much movement as necessary. Large left-right inputs can make it harder to return to a useful road position before the next obstacle.
If a sharp turn is approaching, reduce speed before entering it. Braking after the car has already moved too far toward the outside of the road gives you less room to recover.
Open sections are where you can regain time lost in more technical parts of the course. Once the road ahead is clear and the car is correctly aligned, accelerate until the next traffic cluster or bend requires another decision.
If one corner or traffic section repeatedly causes a collision, concentrate on fixing that part rather than simply trying to drive the entire track faster. One clean section can save more time than a small speed increase everywhere else.
